The collection consists of six notebooks compiled by Genevieve A. Shryock while she was studying library science at the Drexel Institute of Art, Science and Industry, from approximately 1910-1913. It also contains three small black and white photographs of possibly Genevieve and her Drexel classmates from approximately 1910-1911.

Overview

Dr. Guy Garrison served from 1968 to 1987 as dean of the Graduate School of Library Science at Drexel University (renamed the School of Library and Information Studies in 1984). This collection contains Dr. Garrison's professional papers from 1964-1996. The majority of the collection is correspondence, travel itineraries, and brochures and programs from the various library and information science conferences and workshops he attended around the globe.

Martha Coplin Leister records on Pennsylvania Library Club

Overview This collection contains the correspondence of Martha Coplin Leister relating to the Pennsylvania Library Club from 1920 to 1935, as well as meeting programs from 1901 to 1938, and the club’s constitution. She was the longtime Secretary of the Pennsylvania Library Club and a Drexel alumna. The Pennsylvania Library Club was organized in 1893. Although it was expected that the club would become a state organization, its influence was limited to the city of Philadelphia and surrounding areas....
